[Seychelles is trying to  take this all in stride. Especially after hearing about the other jobs floating around. All she was told to do was rotate 14 rolls of toilet paper by friday. Kind of pointless, but at least it's easy. So, she takes the roll that in the bathroom in her house and knocks on the next.... apartment. They live in apartments now ( Read more... )

Hi! My name is Seychelles. I'm just here to rotate your toilet paper.

May I come in?

[Seychelles...? She's heard of this kid before, she thinks. Hrm.]

Come in. What does toilet paper rotating entail?

Ummm, just a few minutes in your bathroom should do it. You won't even know the difference.

Wow. I have to say, you're taking this all pretty well. Most of the people I've talked to today are either depressed or paranoid....

[She gets to work rotating that toilet paper. Takes her less than a minute, really.]

It's better to go along with things for now. You have to stay calm or you'll just feed their intent. Do you understand?

I don't know. I'm just trying to keep myself busy... And not think too much about it.

Exactly what I'm doing, until I figure out just where I'm actually supposed to take these salads I'm making. How many of these toilet paper rotations do you have left to do?

If you'd like to come cook here with me after you're done, you're welcome to. And you can bring anyone else you'd like. I'm not planning on going out until I've determined what they're considering Re-Education-worthy offenses.

I think it's for even milder offenses.
