[Things have been tough on Seychelles lately. First there was a boatload of drama involving England, then her not!dad the Mayor of Townsville got droned. And now France is gone too. She doesn't know how much more of this she can take. But she also knows that everyone here has the same problems, so its not even really fair to complain about them. ( Read more... )

[Jecht rolls in around 3 AM, hoping to get some peace and quiet himself. To his surprise, here's one of his blitz students, churning away at practice. He grins at first, but quickly realizes that she's not on top of her game at all. Approaching the edge of the pool, he just stands there with his arms folded for a while, watching silently until she gets to a stopping or breaking point.]

"...What's eatin' you, kid? Your form's a mess."

[She stares up at him, clinging to the edge of the pool. She opens her mouth to say something more, but her words are swallowed in a choking sob. She seems almost surprised as tears well up, blurring her vision.]
