I'll be quick...
I hope everyone's 4th was safe and enjoyable.
Happy belated Birthday to Christopher. Sorry about missing your birthday (seems I'm good at that).
Down here, though not terribly surprising, Fourth of July is rather...intense, as most of the "professional" fireworks we see up in NJ and available for purchase here by anyone...it's hard to describe, so I won't.
Anyway that was pretty good, took about 48 pictures of the display, so I hope at least some of them turn out, though I won't hold my breath.
So I'm supposed to be having another meeting the 10th of July, which means I'm "stuck" here till at least then. I've decided I'm not going complain, I'm getting paid, and I have realized that I had forgotten how beautiful this place can be. Beach = good. At any rate I am unsure when I will be coming back home...
Some bad news: yesterday I killed my cell phone. I am troubled over this because I opted *not* to pay the $10 or whatever it was for the insurance...so instead now I have to sell one of my kidneys so I can replace the phone (and I’m not quite sure when that is going to be either). I had all my numbers stored in it too; those are all probably gone as well. Bah, whatever, stupid thing.
Well, I think I’m gonna read a little, and then go to bed. People were visiting the last couple of days so I’ve been putting off work stuff a little too much. God, I’m such a procrastinator it’s sick. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing good, and this wasn’t really as quick as I hoped it would be, but oh well…
