So, it was sticky outside at band!! ew, if it hadn't been humid it would have been great weather, but it seems like practices have been going by really quickly here lately! it's like we barely get started and then we're all done.
i really didn't want to get up for my 8 o'clock class!! i'm glad i did though, Dr. Nelson told us about it post-op appointment that he had on monday. see, he is wonderfully healthy, hasn't taken a personal sick day in 10 years!!! but he fell a couple months ago and they did a thorough exam and found a tumor near his heart, initially they said that it was malignent, but that it was a rare form of cancer. they were not going to do surgery had it spread to specific location, well miraculously (because God is awesome like that) it was right next to those places but not yet on them. so he had the surgery and they sent the tumor off to patholegy and they FINALLY go the results back, and it turns out that it was an EVEN RARER form of cancer than they had suspected, they weren't able to test it for malignancy, and so they will never know for sure. but, it is free and clear of his body and he doesn't have to worry about it anymore!! it's so wonderful, he gives ALL the glory for the miraculous things that have happened back to GOD!! I love dr. nelson!!! he called me "sweet miss katye" today, it made me smile
i have the BARN tonight, wanna come? call me!! we're having a bon fire and hot dogs!! it's gonna be a hoot!!!!!
