crazy things
So...I talked to my friend Alexa on the phone last night. We hadn't talked on the phone in oh...5 years, but we IM every now and again. Alexa was my "best friend" from 7th -10th grade. And then I switched school and got different friends and just...I dunno...we grew apart. But we talked last night and it was great and not awkward at all. And the weird part is...we BOTH got engaged Friday night. I mean...how strange is that? And we're both graduating from grad programs in the spring, and just in very similar places in our lives. Maybe we're destined to be friends for all eternity. Anyway...she's great. And it made me happy to talk to her.
