This is really funny to me:
Out of nowhere my mom is like "you know DC comics wants to hire more women?"
I'm like "uhh"
My brother's friend apparently mentioned something about it
She's like "you should look in to it, you could do that, right?"
Me: "ya mom I'll be right on it, cuz it's that easy to just email them and go hey what's up. I don't have to get published first and go to tons of conventions first before they even look at me or anything".
It's not that the companies want to higher ladies as much as everyone else wants them to stop being sexist slobs and the only way to do that is to stop hiring gross unsocialized misogynists that give in to fap-fantasies as selling points.
