aids cartoon bear is creepy

I am trying an experiment. When I take my sleepy medication, if I stay up for an hour or two afterward instead of passing out, I start to kind of wake up again and don't sleep in that long. The other night I only slept four hours and woke up not sleepy and didn't even think about napping until I was bored, and then out of, er, boredom. I managed to get nothing done anyway! I am mighty.

So right now I am resisting going to sleep to see if I can make it over the sleepy-hump. If so, I would have successfully gotten over having to sleep 12+ hours to wake up! Gah!! But it is really really hard not to get in bed.

The trick that I've been doing is reading stuff with big archives. The bonus is that everything right now, while I'm very sleepy, is super hilarious, and my thoughts are all tripping over themselves and writing is hard.

Speaking of control, It is taking all my effort not to go out and buy a dozen mice and perform experiments on them. Not anything crazy just to see if healing salves made from plants help in wound healing. No I'm not going to do it. Even though I could feed them to the snake when I was done. Even though keeping just a dozen wouldn't be too hard. I would want to anesthetize them. Hrm...

Also I don't have a subscription to PubMed or other large journal archive so I can't look up- oh wait yes I can I just only get the abstracts.

no I don't want a pile of squiggling rodents. Small piles of rodents are grosser than most bugs to me. Bugs have hard exoskeletons. Baby mice are squishy and always moving and shitting themselves.

Guys, I did happen upon the first thing on the internet that has made me feel physically ill. And it involved a mouse. So mice = uhg that thing.

Yeah, today suddenly Words, and even now when I can't focus to type I have even mnore waiting. dramatic cliffhanger!

(Oh yeah, I had this hilarious dream where this museum had a whole scary/gross thing section , but was too poor to afford good exhibit displays so the staff just made a bunch of them out of paper posters. At one point my class walked by a hallway-sized hand made picture of a diagram of testicles. On the other wall was a poster showing stages of a pale cartoon AIDS bear dying. Our guide hurried us past it.)
