Sometimes I get random MSN messages from people all over the world. A lot of the time its girls from Turkey. My MSN name (murad13) is a male Turkish name. They never give you their pictures though, because their brothers will kill you! (one girl said this to me, I swear). Anyway, I love it. I like to meet new people from faraway places.
Recently however, I get more and more messages from African people. They might be from Nigeria or Kenya. I get all happy because I don't know that much about Africa, so I can talk to them and learn about their home. Unfortunately, *every* single time a person from Africa sends me a message, it is only a matter of time (usually about 20 minutes) before they somehow ask me for money. "My business associates can't get into my country. If you can send me a money order I will pay you $500," "I have to drop out of school unless I can get money to pay them by next week," etc. Whatever it is, its always "give me hundreds of dollars by next week, and I'll pay you back." There's actually quite a few tactics and they all look like scams. Sad to say, but they've conditioned me to not trust people messaging from Africa. Everytime they message me I think "scam" and everytime (100%, no exaggeration)they ask me for money. Sorry, I can't do that. I'm a poor student. I don't have any money. Please just leave me alone.
