wow.
so i haven't been in here for awhile......
a lot has happened and i think my job situation will be good soon.....i quit whole foods and now am actively looking for a better job. i know it will be at the right time....
went on an interview yesterday at "cantina italiana" in the north end.....i sat down with chuck, this realy huge italian guy who said to me ( as i was dripping wet from walking from haymarket to the heart of the north end in the pouring rain)...."listen, i'll talk to my brother---you know, maybe we could have you come in five days a week in the mornings learning italian and maybe you make some dessert specials....then we get a little bigger, yes? (rubbing his belly--literally!!!)" i about died....it was great and very goodfellas-esque....the irish girl in the italian restaurant...oh boy....although, i would love to work in the north end and cook italian food---and do my own desserts!!!!!!! the guy said right now they bring in desserts from italy--but if my desserts are as good, they could possibly make me their pastry chef......:) yea for me.
