I have to bake my cookies for my cookie exchange on Saturday. This is my first year hosting one. I have wanted to host one for a long time, but never had the space to host a party before. Well I don't have the space now, but my parents do. My mom is letting me use her house for the party. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm getting nervous though because I still haven't gotten a lot of RSVPs. This kind of party won't work with only half of the guests! Also I didn't know that Mexican Wedding Cakes and Russian Tea Cakes were the same thing so now I might have two guests bringing the same cookie. Yeah, that won't work. Why on earth are they called both Mexican and Russian? My sister is going to make gingerbread and I haven't decided what to make yet. Our new apartment has a teeny tiny kitchen so I'm going to have to go with something easy. I also need to decide how I am going to display my cookies. I guess I can make my cookies look more impressive with a nice display. Karin, I am so excited about your cookies. I love pumpkin. I am sure they will be amazing.
