The Dark World Flashes

My head throbs
The world spins around me
Like I’m on a carousel
Few visions meet my eyes
The day sky turns dark
As I fall lifelessly to the ground
Nothingness fills my head
Thoughts are blank
Leaving me to the world
My eyes open
Memories of my childhood come back
My body is held down
By belts of helplessness
I close my eyes hoping to find reality
Where is it?
Which vision?
I see clouds
Grass
Family
Blackness
Truth
I see him
Standing at my feet
Staring at his masterpiece
Exposing my deepest thoughts
A tear splashes down upon my body
Drowning me with his guilt
My eyes close for the last time
The dark world flashes.

*nobody be worried, this isn't a suicide poem. I wrote this when a kid at my school brought a gun to school. This is what I thought of when I found out about it.
