Went down to Beauty World to meet with M to get our second quote. We were there pretty early so we decided to explore a bit and maybe get a drink. It ended up with us eating lunch instead, despite having had a late breakfast.
We walked along the shophouses across from Beauty World. And then we saw this shop. Pretty small, but the queue was long, so we guessed the food should be good if there people queueing for food. Thus we went to join the crowd.
We ordered their famous dry kolo mee, with a luohan longan drink for me and coffee for my hubby. Noodles were ok, not really fantastic, just that all the flavouring came from the meat, which probably had lots of MSG added in. Wanton was a little overcooked for my liking, and the prawns were soft, no kick when eating coz they weren’t crunchy. All in all, we felt that it wasn’t worth the price we paid. So much for relying on the crowd to judge on the food.
