Lunch @ Element Restaurant

After Mummy & I went for our overdue Pap's smear test this morning we wandered around looking for lunch places before settling with Element Restaurant @ Amara Hotel. I had been taken by their delicious selection of cakes when walking by previously and had intended to bring Mumsy there for cakes and tea (we are both cake lovers).

It turned out they were having an international seafood buffet promo there at $43+++ per head. After taking a look around at the food selection we decided to go for the buffet instead.

Starters of oysters, mussels and scallops. (There was also crayfish, prawns, and crabs which I kinda skipped coz I was too lazy to handle the shell.)

Second starter - artichoke, cherry tomatoes, cheese, smoked salmon, chicken salad and duck.

I skipped soup and went straight for some mains: pasta, ratatouille of asparagus and clams, ham pizza (pizza wasn't as good) and sushi.

Dessert platter 1 - chempadak panna cotta with raspberry, almond muffin with gold flakes, brownie, and leftover chocolate sauce from my marshmallows that were dipped in the chocolate fountain.

Dessert platter 2 - honeydew and strawberries coated with chocolate, and mango mouse cake (this was superb)!

We ended everthing with coffee / tea before calling for the bill. Perhaps the buffet was wasted on us as we are both small eaters. But we both declared that we had to bring Pops and Hubba to try out the buffet before the promotion ends.
