I love Amazon. It's really good to be able to order stuff from Amazon online, especially when they are not available in Sg, or when the one available in Sg does not have the special features in the DVD set, and have them delivered straight to you in a couple of days.

Oh ya! Reading your entry reminds me of a book called "Steel Magnolias" that I had been wanting to get online for a long time. Ok ok, better go surf for it now ;-P

hehe... do do! i'm sure Amazon should have it. :) Anyway, my advise would be to use the expedited shipping, or better, not the standard. Standard shipping goes by SingPost, and I had one shipment lost before. Luckily, Amazon replaced it FOC.

Now I'm torn over buying the book or DVD. Hey, does their DVDs have the same code as the ones in Sg? I am just worried that it can't be played here.

I've also checked out using Vpost to ship the 1.1pound book to Sg. Goodness, its like SGD16++. More exp than the book itself! I rather use Amazon direct post like this!

No, I believe they ship code 1 DVD. Check to see if your player can play code 1, some players do support multi-codes. I prefer code 1 coz it has better surround-sound effect.

Amazon expedited and priority shipping are usually sent by courier service (UPS), which is much more reliable. priority shipping will allow you to track the package, whereas expedited doesn't, but at least it is better than it going by standard shipment (SingPost) and getting lost in transit.
