Weekend recap
My life has been pretty boring ever since I got hooked to the Twilight Saga. Am pretty thankful for Amazon's existence, as I was able to get the final book of the saga, Breaking Dawn, in less than 3 working days via priority shipment. As I believe that book is totally sold out in Singapore. Hee... But, the craze is dying slightly, ever since I finished re-reading the books over and over I think 4 times in a row now. Possibly the last time this happened was the Harry Potter Saga.
After toning down several notches, I owed Hubba big time and we spent a nice Friday night at the movies watching "Milk". An interesting movie... makes me take my hat off to Sean Penn and James Franco, doing the gay scene and all. Wonder if Rob Pattinson's little indie flick "Little Ashes" will ever make it to Sg, since it's another gay show. Haa... Hubba doubts it, all coz it's an indie flick.
Had company D&D last night, and I got totally played dressing up for it. Ended up loads of people just slacked in jeans and polo-tees. So shitty! Only consolation (or not) was that I got selected for best dressed, and won the consolation prize. Though it was not without having to humiliate myself in front of the 1000+ people, having to perform a love duet with someone whom I didn't even know. Gah! Lesson learnt, will never dress up to the theme for D&D ever again.
Enjoying the rest of the Sunday now. Gonna laze in front of the telly and watch some Japanese drama that I managed to get when in town on Friday. TTFN.
