Someone has a heart
After an entire month of travelling to and from work with a bandaged foot, and having to stand the entire journey for most times, some kind soul finally made my day yesterday. A nice lady was pretty concerned the moment she saw my foot and offered me her seat . Luckily for her (unluckily for me), I was just a couple of stops away from my stop, and so I turned down her offer but thanked her for her kindness all the same.
No matter how, it just made my day knowing that someone actually cared. Really a contrast to the usual pretense of falling asleep when someone who needs the seat is spotted, or the sudden surge of sms-ing to keep one's eyes averted from the person needing the seat.
Some Singaporeans are not so heartless after all.
