Flipped through an array of promotional deals last night. Apparently, there was a lot of ads on the newspapers yesterday and I only got to flip through them when I came home from work. Coz of that, I also came online to surf, hoping to see better online deals.
The
Mondi lifestyle advertised a sale! Cool... plus they have 0% installment plans for certain credit cards. Can tompang my parents since I don't own any OCBC, DBS, POSB or Diners credit cards. Hee... still eying the Betto sofa. Dunno when the promo will last though... thinking of going to view next week or something. The husband isn't in the mood today.
Then there was this advertisement for Brandt cooker hood and hobs. Apparently they have a promo for hob, oven and hood for $1099, and if you want a chimney hood you have to top up an extra $350. Offer till end of February... Thought that was a good one, till I came across another one from
Rinnai online. However ain't sure whether the promo is still on since the ad was on 1st Sept 2006! May have to call them to check. They apparently have a range of hoods and hobs at promotional prices, and I fell in love with one set, which is going for $1055. If the offer is still on, then I shall call M to speak with them, so that she can also get some commission. Ain't I nice?
There was also a promo for Indesit washer and dryer from
Mayer. But the offer washer has no spin function, so I'm a little wary. Went to look round the site and found a better model with more functions for a top up of $130. Ain't happy with the promo dryer too, coz too little functions. Then I found an Ariston one, which had more functions for an extra $110. That would be a whooping $1488 for both washer and dryer, compared to the advertised $1048 for the promo one. Ain't sure if they are the best bargain, but will keep in view. After all, heard they ain't bad, and even Panasonic washing machines ain't cheap as well, even though they advertised a year-end promo.
Went online to search for fridges, but they ain't cheap. Even the
Panasonic promotion has their 468L fridge going for $1099, just because of the new Magic Top technology. Don't really need to pay extra for some cool new tech stuff. So I went to search
Samsung online, which is seemingly good since my aunt is using that fridge and it's been working well all these years. Found one cool 470L one in matt silver, but no price mentioned. However all Samsung models seem to have this new silver nano health system technology. Dunno how good that is. May find time to go view at Courts or Best Denki before I decide.
