Hehe, my previous entry, 'hello,' was only a portion of an entry. I hit
enter too early. Thank you for all the cute comments, though. This
weekend was sadly, very unproductive. Not that I went out (in fact, I
barely left my room, unless to get food, and even that was pretty
scarce). Instead, I had what started as a sinus headache, and then soon
became a migraine. It lasted from about 10pm until about 4pm the next
day. And by the time that I had started feeling better, I had a
committee meeting, chapter, and class caucus...so I couldn't even open
a schoolbook (started studying for my exam on Thurs) until 10pm.
The next 2 weeks of my life will be insane...night events, exams, and
working on a major paper. Not to mention sorority stuff...which always
seem to build up its intensity by mid-November. I absolutely cannot
waaait to see my baby (Nov 22). Of course, this means that my paper for
BCS is due either the morning of the 22nd, or the evening of the 21st.
I highly doubt I will be attending the Viennesse Ball, considering the
weekend after that, I am basically married to the sorority. I really
hope that I get Philanthropy Chair (I pretty much told the whole
chapter that I want something non-exec, and they all know my level of
compassion for others, and this is the only position I really want).
However, I did decide, for the good of the chapter, to accept my
nomination for Housing Chair. But there is absolutely no way that I
will be living in the suite, my last semester. My schedule is as
follows: Neurobiology w/ Lab, Lab in Development and Learning,
Cognition, Neurochemisty, English Seminar, and a possible Honors
Thesis. Needless to say...if I work at all, it will probably be no more
than 8 hours a week.
To my friends from home: I miss you guys like crazy. I know this has
been an insane semester for all of us, and I am sorry that I have not
been able to call to keep in touch. I love all of you, and I cant wait
to see you when I am home (Dec 21!!). I am so glad I know who my
friends for life are ;).
Heart,
Sharon
