I don't think it will ever stop hurting really. I may be able to distract myself, and that will be fine. But whenever I'm alone, in this room where I've spent so many years depressed and longing, the pain will come back easily. I know it will hurt for these next two years, it's inevitable. But I do believe in the end, it will be worth it, fully.
