Her Character wasn't a fighter, Her speciality was seduction. You have to look back to the reference made by Uma Thurman's character in Pulp Fiction. She said that her pilot was Fox Force Five. The blonde was the leader, the demolitions expert (the black one), the asian one (lucy), the French Fox's speciality was seduction, and Uma Thurman was the most deadly woman in the world with a blade. Its obvious that Quentin turned his reference of the pilot in pulp fiction into this movie. Granted its darker and there are no Jokes about Tomaetoes (I'm waiting for it in Vol 2) so a darker name was used. Fox Force Five was changed to the Deadly Viper Assassin Squad. So getting back to your question she could have seduced Uma if she were a lesbian and weren't hell bent on revenge, but probably didn't know how to fight.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

- I was really impressed with Julie's Japanese speaking skill. I think she should have been the yakuza lady boss, not Lucy Liu. Lucy's inability to speak fluent Japanese was so apparent. But I guess Julie just doesn't look as menacing as Lucy.
- Yes, Julie was beautiful, but her role in the movie was a lawyer, a "thinker" as was mentioned earlier, and I think he plays the role perfectly, and if you're a japanese theatre watcher, she speaks the language (japanese) flawlessly, that's what turned me on to her, and Gogo was hot, but young, if you guys want to see her in another film (Gogo that is, Chiaki i think her real name is) then check out Battle Royale, it's been banned from the U.S. but you can download it somewhere and if you thought Gogo was cool, her character in this movie brings Gogo to life. I think this characer could have served as Gogo's background in Kill Bill rather well
- Chiaki Kuriyama as GoGo is the hottest cast member in a beautiful cast: Lucy Lui, Julie Dreyfus, Vivica Fox, and Uma all look sexy. However GoGo in that school girls uniform stands out as the sexiest. Uma is a close second in the Sushi bar. Julie Dreyfus is definitely beautiful but just isn't as sexy.
- I was reading an interview with Tarantino and he said he's planning on a Volume 3 in about 15 years. He said it would be about Vivica A. Fox's daughter seeking revenge on the Bride. And she is raised and trained by Sofie Fatale. I was excited to hear that. I haven't seen Volume 2 yet (seeing it tonight woohoo!), so I'm not sure if she's in it. But I know she's still alive.
And as for Mr. "Vivica A. Fox is pretty for her race".... what the EFF does that mean?... ass. She's absolutely gorgeous. But true, she does not compare to Julie. I was in absolute awe of her during Volume 1.

No man, Monica is an old b-itch with a constant stupid expression on her face, and Julie Dreyfus is a real beautiful one, intelligent and sexy - unlike Monuca Bellicci even though this italian bombshell is "Hotter", i.e. her booty is bigger, her breast too: i say, what an adventage?!
- Well, yeah she does resemble Monica Bellucci. Look at Monica Bellucci, she has so few lines in The Matrix yet she is so famous now. They are both HOT but in different ways though. In their unique ways.

Well, she's not "damn" ugly. BUT! she! is! DAMN attractive! And she is a perfect match for the role, she's a Good Actress. If you were a QT fan, you'd be on her side too... She's a Helen of Troyantino, man!

You don't have to look for secret Tarantino clues in his other movies, the answre is that she is. You hear it the first time she's introduced. Sofie's referred to as 'another protege of Bill's.' At least to me, this says that she can fight.
