I just walked to campus in the pouring rain and my feet are soaking wet but I'm not mad because
1. rain is better than 90° humidity
2. I have a job!!!
I'm so excited about this. It's at a non-profit organization which helps couples with fertility problems. I had an interview a couple weeks ago and it went really well. One of the women there even turned out to be from Maine and had gotten married in my temple, so we had a lot of stuff to talk about. Still, I didn't get my hopes up and I didn't hear back from them. So yesterday I decided to email them and it was a good thing I did because they want to hire me! It's not a whole lot of hours, but seriously if I could just have $50 a week for food and things, that's really all I need. Plus I'm sure it will be more than that. Also it will continue into the school year so that's cool.
So let's review here, shall we? My summer activities consist of:
1. fertility clinic
2. clavichord society
3. college radio dj
This list just makes me feel so special and random and indie. I'm pretty sure that I'm cooler than you.
