shut the fuck up and hold on

I got up at 9:30 today to have lengthy phone conversations with the computer guy. And I get to pay $100 for a new hard drive. But now I don't have to be worried about all my files getting erased. I really can't afford $100, and it took me a while to decide, because I kept thinking about getting presents for everyone (which I still haven't started) and about the Montreal trip in February (for which I don't want to be as broke as last time) but in the end I decided that neither of those are as important as my music collection (which is something like 30gig haha). And the thought of having to reburn all my CDs, and redownload all my music sans i2hub, and reorganize everything, and still not getting it just how it was before, is extremely deathly. But the point of this paragraph was to mention that I had to get up at 9:30 after going to bed at 4:00 and I don't know why my eyes have this weird problem of getting absurdly bloodshot whenever I get less than six hours of sleep but it sucks.

I really like The Go! Team and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Bell Orchestre and Pavement and I stole them all from WBRS and they make me feel all hipsterish and cooler than you.

Today my grandfather is flying in from DC and he's bringing his new wife. Yes, that's right, my 85 year old grandpa has a new wife. Which I guess makes me a step-grandchild? I have to entertain them tomorrow while my family is at work. I won't have a car and they are both deaf and I don't know sign language and oh lord.

Facebook keeps getting stalkier and stalkier.

Break is fun because I can make delicious breakfasts. Today it was crepes with apples and cheese inside.

I still want to go to the hookah bar. Someone come with me.
