Medieval Funkhana

I finally got all the photographs together of the funkhana from a month or so ago. I had three people there taking photos for me and helping out. It was a really lovely day, only marred by the blistering heat in the morning and the savage wind in the afternoon, but surprisingly few of the horses got worked up by it ( Read more... )

I should scan in the pattern envelope so you can see what I started with.

Jay's at least looking in the general direction. I wasn't actually aiming at anything, just posing. That paddock had horses tied all around the fence. There were about 40 horses there that day. He was probably looking at one of them, most likely the one getting fed at the time, hoping he'd be next. But it worked out alright for the photos. Horses always look prettier when they are interested in something. Food is a big something for them.

what I know about horses has been doubled by knowing you. I'm fond of the nosebag myself, so I quite understand jay's interest :-D
