I've finally finished watching it and believe me it was worth it.
My review for this drama is 5 out of 5.
The characters are SunMi (Chae Rim). Hyung-Chul (Jang Dong-Kun), YoungMi (Kim So Yeon) and Woo-jin (Han Jae-suk).
So SunMi is your typical lovely mannered girl and she's so polite. Nice to everyone and has not a mean bone in her. She's a little naive but when push comes to shove she can hold her own. Then there is YoungMi (oh boy you have to have a villanous). But YoungMi omg she was definitely the ultimate bad bitch. She doesn't give a damn about anyone but herself. So the bad blood starts between these two. Of course you have to have the men in the women's lives. Hyung-chul the business man who meets SunMi when she was in London. Why was she there was cause YoungMi got her claws into Woo-jin who is SunMi's childhood friend and this girl was in love with him. But sadly he didn't love SunMi like he did YoungMi.
While SuniMi is in London love blossoms between Woo-jin and YoungMi. But SunMi couldn't get over her hurt and so she befriends Hyung-chul who took a fancy to SunMi. While SunMi was there learning English or whatever friendship grew and she hung out with Hyung-chul alot and she confessed alot to Hyung-chul about Woo-jin.
Now she arrives back to Seoul and yet her love for Woo-jin was fading sllllloowwwllly (I mean slowly) cause she still was making an ass of herself over him. YoungMi of course was still the badass bitch and gosh I couldn't get over the fact how nasty she was. Omg she have to love Woo-jin's mum cause for me she was too funny. She really hated YoungMi and I didn't really blame her. You'd think people were nice to her and yet she just doesn't know how to even accept politeness. Okay blame it on the childhood.
Anyways they both get a job at MBS and both wanted to be anchorwoman's much to the amazement of how competitive they both became. I loved how SunMi really gave it her all even though YoungMi sabotaged and lied to people about SunMi. Yet they both worked together. How they managed to work alongside was beyond me. Anyway SunMi the forever nicest person always managed to be nice to YoungMi but to no avail.
Now along comes Hyung-chul to Seoul for business and plus his dad wasn't well and he becomes the CEO for that company. Little did SunMi know that Hyung-chul fancying her was the boss's son. So Hyung-chul is trying hard to appear normal to SunMi and he's really trying to get SunMi to like him but who comes along yep badass YoungMi hehe. Forever hateful she quickly drops the bombshell on SunMi and she confronts Hyung-chul. Yet Hyung-chul tries his best to always be there and (he was oh he's so dreamy hehe) for SunMi but eventually he wore her down.
So after 20 episodes YoungMi (honestly I tried to like this bitch but no matter I couldn't. I was hoping that she was going to be good but yet when she was good I still couldn't get over the fact that she was nasty) so yeah I didn't like her from beginning to ending. YoungMi lost her memory after Woo-jin died (that's cause she tried to commit suicide but it didn't work cause she was still alive.). Woo-jin knew and couldn't believe how his girlfriend could be so nasty. I could go on about this YoungMi but I won't.
The ending omg I love them (well you know I love my OTP more hehe). I'm glad that SunMi and Hyung-chul got engaged.
So my rant for this drama is all there hehe. I've never come across a drama that I literally dislike a character that YoungMi. So All About Eve is a angst, funny and sad drama. So many of these that you will need a tissue and a bowl of popcorn to watch this oh yeah you might need to rant along with someone while watching together hehe.
So recommendation is give it a go!
SunMi and Hyung-chul.
