what i did with my weekend
this weekend was really fun. Saturday Ryan and I went to a Korean bathhouse. I am officially addicted. For four chun (4.00) you get two huge hot tubs, three temps. saunas, showers, a hot rock thing to lie on, cold pools, and a masseuse (sp?) who, for additional 6 chun, will scraub your entire body with milk and sea salt (awesome) and then massage it for 45 minutes. It was awesome. I also got a mud mask and a face massage. My skin still feels so soft. Ryan was really pissed though because I was 45 minutes late coming out. I'm a bad girlfriend but I couldn't help it! It was awesome. And the decor was pretty cool too. Think "sultan's harem" and that comes the closest to describing the theme. Later that night we went downtown and found the ex-pat bar Inteon (omigod i just used the word 'ex-pat'. how icky). ALl in all , a nice evening.
Sunday was spent riding our bikes all over dalseo-gu (our section of Daegu) and taking multiple trips to the batting cages. Later, after a nap we went out for chicken galbi with another teacher (Mary). Someone stole her shoes while we were eating!
Then we located our neighborhood video store and rented the third Harry Potter (boo hiss) and the Aviator. Now I'm exhausted and sore but for good reasons.
