Side note, got half the Xmas cards for US folks mailed out today before my PictureIt! program died due to some type bug/virus/whatever. Got rid of the problem and just finished printing out another batch while I wait for the next pie to finish cooking (pumpkin, 2 for tomorrow's family get-together), so those 20 will go out in the mail Monday. I have several that go overseas, and those hopefully will go out Tuesday, along with some packages that have to be mailed. Have already finished the main course, and hub has to shred the Velveeta for pimento-cheese sandwiches. Made the tea and bought the cokes, so hopefully everything will be taken care of for tomorrow. I'll be glad when it's over.
Am enjoying spending time with my Mom. Very nice to have her here from Colorado. :-) Makes Christmas a whole lot brighter, even though she won't be here next weekend, she'll have helped make it much nicer! She put together two baskets to give away as door prizes this year. They look gorgeous, but I don't even want to consider what each one cost. If I had to guess, I'd say $20 each. Perhaps $25.
Anyway, gotta check on this pie and get back to catching up on LJ, even though I should be writing, my brain can't function well enough after midnight even with a huge dose of coffee to push it along to write more than this here!
