So Christmas is almost here. I'm continuing to be confused at the fact that the man who owns the place where is work is Jewish, but decorates the store for Christmas... and has a Christmas party... and why did we collect money to get him a Christmas present? All of the first ones I can understand, but not the Christmas present part...
Our landlord invited us up for supper on Christmas day but we're going to say no. For once we want to be together for the holiday, where we can relax and trash said landlord instead of hanging out with him and his family... He's ok, we just want to be together.
I got a grant on my PEI student loan in the amount of $6000... vert sweet, because now I only owe them $6900... Unfortunately, I still have the National Student loan centre to worry about, that's about $44,000... I also for interest relief, which means that for the next 6 months the government pays my payments for me... Considering that my payments each month are more than rent, that's a very welcome present. Hopefully by the time I start up again I'll have a good job and be able to afford it.
I have my flu shot tomorrow, and I'm nervous... I've never had one before, and I'm getting it at work. I hope it doesn't make me feel sick, though I'm assuming that if I do get sick-ish, it won't kick in for a couple of hours but which time I'll be home...
That's about it... Lucy had his shots, he weighs 2.47kg (5.43 lbs) and is still crazy... I'm off to work
