So here's the problem when you pay with two different credit cards: one might be rejected, so you wind up with half the components for a PC.
And in this case, not the half I can put together. The charge that went through contained the hard drives, optical drives, and memory.
So, yeah.
Turns out Discover requires you to register shipping addresses different from your mailing address with your account. This is either new or just damn retarded, because I know I've used it to ship somewhere other than my billing address. Different freaking state, in fact. So my second order was denied, and I was just now able to call Discover and add my address. The first order shipped today; I realized that I should buy an anti-static arm band (especially considering what it's like down here), but I think I might just get that from Best Buy. No use paying $8 and having to wait for another shipment when I can walk in to Best Buy and get one for $10.
Yet another strike from not having a real permanent residence. However, I am one step closer: I finally got time to finsih my Plan of Attack for my thesis, and now I need my sup to look over it before I can send it in. Unfortunatly, it turns out that my sup has the week off; I'm sending it to someone else to be checked, but the other sup I'm sending it to doesn't have the knowledge of my sup, so sigh. In the mean time, I have smaller tasks for lots of other programs to deal with, and between those I'm writing
