RISK

So...tonight, after seeing "Match Point", which I highly reccommend, I stayed in and played RISK for the 1st time. Because my voice has now basically prevented me from doing anything else, I have turned to board games. RISK is now definitely one of my favorite games. Through smeaky and evil alliances, Lauren and I joined up and conquered the world out of Africa and the Middle East. And beat Taylor, the Political Science major at his own game. The voice majors beat the engineers, the polysci major, and the film and business major. Well, to be fair, they almost won, and it was due largely to Lauren's brilliant double-cross sceme that we succeeded. Long story short, I am lame, but currently happy with that.

Oh, and we had our 1st rehearsals for the operas this week. Paradise Lost is almost like Jesus Christ Superstar, and Eugene Onegin has some of the prettiest music I have ever heard. If anyone wants to come, Paradise Lost is the second weekend in february, which is the 11th and 12th, and Eugene Onegin is the last weekend in February, thurs-sun, and it is much more "opera-y" If anyone is able to come, PLEASE do, I would greatly appreciate the support. I will buy your tickets for you and lodge you if you come. PLEASE. I beg you, come to one of these things.
