summer is over. how depressing. i mean, i know it just can't be summer forever because i'll just be sitting around my whole life and rotting away, but i don't want to have to think again. or do homework. or wake up early. ugh.
anyway, yesterday was a good close to the summer. bobby and i went to the beach and it was fun. my parents had their own little romantic getaway and my mom decided to pack us a little dinner too, so that was nice. i guess mike perrins saw us there but didn't come over to say hi. shady butt. we tried [very much in vain] to make a fire from the pieces of wood and newspaper we scoured the beach for, but we spent two match books trying to make the dang wood catch on fire and it just wouldn't. so we gave up and froze to death under a blanket, then stopped by the boardwalk for some garlic fries and deep fried oreos. oh i love deep fried oreos. bobby had never been on the giant dipper either [what kind of californian hasn't been on the giant dipper?!?] so we went on that too. it was alotta fun.
i'm gonna go see off ryan and his family in a bit here, then probably study. the girls and i were supposed to have a laguna beach marathon, but bianca is a procrastinator and has to finish "jane eyre" by the time school starts. i have to babysit tonight, too. alright. i'll be off.
