I had the weirdest experience today! During PE, we were playing Newcan ball and at first I was the one at the back saving my team but then I got bored and sat down. I was just thinking that the ball should come to me and I would catch it sitting on the ground and then it happened! The ball flew straight towards me and no one could get it. They all gasped when they saw the ball nearly land and then one of us would be “out”. But because I had just imagined it happening and it did exactly the way I thought it would, I put my hands up in the air and caught the flying ball dead in between my palms. Everyone clapped, and I mean everyone.
I got the same thunder-like applause later in Music for playing “Puff the Magic Dragon”, it wouldn’t have been anything except we had only played it once and most of the class either couldn’t remember how it went or couldn’t read the scores. So I was the only one who played it fluently and Mrs. B said she enjoyed it so much she didn’t want me to stop playing so I had to play it twice while everyone did once. After, Anna said sarcastically, “You can play everything.”
Actually, I never wanted all that attention. Not my fault for being born musical!
