Beta Reading?
Would anyone like to beta read / possibly Brit-pick the very, very long (17K) first chapter (of what will almost certainly be an absurdly long story) for me? For what it's worth it's S/J pre-slash, plotty-ish (aka not as plotty as I would like), and is filled with canon tidbits. WARNING: character death. In fact the title is actually The English Dance of Death, which should give you an idea of approximately the amount of death we're talking here.
Aren't I great at making things sound appealing? "It's uber long, I am insecure about it, and rocks fall and everyone dies. What a fun romp it will be to edit!"
