Oh man, I really wanted to save this until after I'd caught up and seen the ep, but IT WAS TOO ENTICING. I COULDN'T WAIT. And all the better, really, because now when I watch the actual ep I'll have this delicious, delightful fic overlaying it in my mind. And like, dear god, this is all of my favorite things. The sensory, h/c imagery, Dean trying to talk himself through all the resonances of Hell. The line, "there are no monsters in Hell"--Hell being home to something else entirely, and yet at the same time the distinctions between tortured and torturers slipping. And then that same line's juxtaposition with there being no Sam in Hell, either. This is so amazing, and I absolutely adore it; it makes my heart flutter viscerally just thinking about it after reading. Perfection. <3333
