Today there was a "Day after Thanksgiving" marathon on Sci-Fi, and it just happened to be of my mom's old time favorite TV show Mork and Mindy! She's talked about the show many times before, and went around saying "Na-nu Na-nu!" and I'd just laugh and tease her...but now I've watched the show...
I knew what the show was about from my mom telling me about it.I thought it was interesting but I never had the chance to watch it until the today. I didn't think it would be this funny! Robin Williams is a great actor, and I think he makes this show. He plays an alien, named Mork, sent to earth as an observer from the planet Ork. And he traveled to earth in a egg shaped ship! How cool is that?! Pam Dawber plays Mindy, the woman who takes Mork in when he lands and they become great friends as she teaches him things about earth and how people do. It lasted 4 seasons, and from what I've seen it's a great and heartfelt show. Mork learns a new lesson about life every week, so its entertaining and it warms the heart. ^_^ I started watching the marathon at about 1 or 2 PM today, its now 4:20 AM and the last episode starts at 4:30. I think I might be a little brain dead from watching so much TV and not really doing much of anything else, but I tried not to watch and it doesn't work! It's addicting! Lol. Anyway, no point in this post really, just pointing out a great old show that many have probably forgotten about, and its now a new found love of mine.
Here's a few pictures for you to enjoy. Mork really had style didn't he? Lol.
The hand gesture here is a handshake in Ork. Usually done while saying "Na-Nu Na-Nu" which means hello. ^_^
