Saturday afternoon J and I went to Toronto to pick up our AFI concert tickets. We had to go to
Dundas Square. So we were on Yonge Street for about a half hour and in that short period of time we witnessed:
- an angry mob of protesting Ethiopians
- a parade of naked (and i mean fully naked) men on bicycles (followed by a cop on a bicycle as well, hmm)
- a guy running down the street in his underwear waving a flag, i assume this had to do with soccer (a girl was chasing after him with her camera trying to snap a pic, hee hee)
We also had a bit of time to stop and check out the
North By Northeast Music Festival (Indie Music Market). We watched a young Toronto band called
Spiral Beach. Very different sound but it was good. Greig Nori from Treble Charger was there checking out the bands too! Neat-o.
P.S.
Happy Birthday Kermit!
