Hawaii: Part 1
my mom and i went to hawaii for two weeks.
the first island we stayed on was Oahu.
here are some pictures from our adventures. (there will be way more to come)
we spent lots of time in airports/on planes. (it's supposed to be a total of 9hrs of flying from chicago)
hawaii loves teh tourists! (especially at the airport)
food was super expensive... but usually tasty.
the local birds usually cleaned up the leftovers.
this port was right outside of our resort.
all hawaiin pay phones have cheesy flowers on them.
waikiki beach
you could rent lots of fun water toys from little beachside stores.
this thing was a fatty bigwheel-type thing you could pedal through the water on.
it was amusing to watch people in it.
i like slushees!
there was a yoga teacher's training convention going on at our resort...
what really sucked about this is when the class got out, all these sweaty/stinky people would pile into the elevators with us.
it was gross.

it was really common to see people walking around with surfboards.
