I hate wildfires. It's 81 degrees here, with hot Santa Ana winds, and this morning a brushfire started in the hills behind the high school. Thankfully the fire is 25% contained and is expected be fully contained by 10 pm tonight.
I've spent all morning refreshing my local news page and listening to the radio. Work has been dead. I don't know if it's because of the fire or what.
I hope that everything works out. Problem is, so many firefighters are already fighting the BIG fire in Montecito. It seems like this one isn't too bad and so far no homes have been destroyed and they've been successful in keeping the flames away from the neighborhood.
