Another weekend as we head eastbound
It’s the summertime in my favorite town
Spend my nights on 1st and 3rd
Wasting time and chasing those girls
We were drunk and so in love
There was never such a thing as far too much
Those summer flings never meant a thing
We were just kids we were living the dream
We only live for right now
Tomorrow’s so far away
So we’ll raise this glass
As we sing,
We’re the kings and queens
Of the seaside town
A summer in Duval was all that we need
Staying up all night
Closing the bars down
We ruled the late night scene
I’ll always remember
Summer nights and warm Atlantic wind
I’ll always remember
Sun rising over the pier
Was our blinding reminder that the morning is here
We ride home, just to do it again
I smile remembering finding sand in my bed
Riding bikes, open container laws ignored
Late night runs to the local liquor store
Hurricane warnings don’t mean a thing
Just another reason to throw a party
We only live for right now
Tomorrow’s so far away
So we’ll raise this glass
As we sing,
We’re the kings and queens
Of the seaside town
A summer in Duval was all that we need
Staying up all night
Closing the bars down
We rule this late night scene
I’ll always remember
Fireworks and our sunburned skin
I’ll always remember
Years from now we’ll have grown up and moved on with our lives
So let’s raise our glass and live it up like it’s our last night
We only live for right now
Tomorrow’s so far away
So we’ll make a toast
As we sing,
We’ll sing at the top of our lungs
We’re the kings and queens
Of the seaside town
A summer in Duval was all that we need
Staying up all night
Closing the bars down
We rule this late night scene
I’ll always remember
Stealing kisses under moonlit skies
I’ll always remember
A lifetime of summer memories
