I've made threads in the comments sections for the different steps of the subbing process, but I'm just going by the steps we took in Vi6es, so if your personal process is to combine some of these steps, that's totally fine. I just thought it might be easier to talk about each process in a separate thread.

I'd like to volunteer to take the first 40-41 minutes of dialogue, and I'll also take the final studio segment with the surprise from Mino and the message from Sakamoto.

Ooh okay, just saw this. I'll take the dialogue from when the narrator introduces B-Rap High School (approx 01:27:07 in the video uploaded on v6 unlimited) up till before the final studio segment, then ^^ That makes my segment about 50 minutes too.

Also, what are we translating 未成年の主張 as? We should at least standardise the corner names lol

I checked the video I put in Unlimited, and I will go from the beginning until 59:30 when the scene cuts to them back in the van going to the second school.

I can't decide how to translate Meseinen no Shuchou either. "Minor Claims" makes it sound like they're complaining about unimportant things. Maybe "Adolescent Confessions?" I know not all of them were specifically confessions to something, but I think for the most part the kids were up there so they could tell a secret in public like a confession. Idk, I'm open to suggestion.

Adolescent Confessions makes it sound poetic and adorable and I'm all for it. :))) But if you're stuck on the 'confessions' bit, we can also make it like Teenage Talk, Rapscallion Requests... :)))

HAHAHA yeah everything I came up with just sounded weird, but Adolescent Confessions actually sounds good. Like, not lame or strange. Hahaha.

Anyway just fyi I'm working OT today so I probably won't be able to get anything done today, but tomorrow's an off day so hopefully I'll be able to finish it tomorrow ^^

nagoya_mewmew, since you're doing 60 mins of the beginning, do you want me to just continue on from my part and take the last studio segment until Maa-kun's message?

If you want to finish out the video, that's fine by me. Maa-kun's message is only a few sentences, really.

As a status report, I got about 8 minutes of dialogue done today in the office between that and going through TOKIO files on my external drive. I think I typically average about 1 hour for every 10 minutes of dialogue (unless it's really difficult language or hard to hear the words), so I'm thinking if I work an hour each day, I can have it all wrapped up by the end of next weekend. Would that be too slow? I can maybe work in more time here and there and speed up the process. I'm always afraid I'm the slow butt who's dragging the project down. XP Anyhoo, I might be able to work on it some more tonight, but we'll see.

I'm more or less done with my part, so I'll just take the rest to make things a little easier for you :)

I've a few short lines here and there that I can't figure out... As usual it's when they're talking at the same time, too fast, or mumbling >< I'll try listening to them again but if I can't figure them out I'll probably leave them and pretend they were never uttered :p

Thanks so much! I worked a little more this morning and I'm at minute 27 of 60. XD I plan on staying after work again tonight to continue to make progress. My overall goal is to still be completely done (including proofreading and editing) by Monday morning USA time so I can just hand everything over to the timer and say, "Go for it!" Wish me luck! ^_^v

I finished the rough draft of my part on Friday night, and my plan is to read through it later this evening to clean up lines I don't like and add in the text for the captions. My goal is to have it all finished tonight (USA time) to hand over to the timers for the next week. GANBARIMASU! XD
