ITs been awhile, but I'm back

Where to begin? Well first off, does anyone out there think its wierd to send ones kids over to find out whether or not someone you think you like is there? I kow odd question, but if you really want to know the full story ask morpheus, I suspect that his commentary on the matter will be far more amusing.

Beyond that the Nickleback show was a blast, loved the people I was working with. well maybe not all of them, but most. met a few cool chics there, but as my luck would have it the only one I found all that interesting was, of course, not single. Did want to take one womans head off though. She had a little boy who couldn't possibly have been old than 6 in the crowd with here (about 10 bfeet back from the front, center stage). I had to keep the little dude from being trampled myself once. Chances are I would have made an issue of it if i hadn't been working the out and couldn't afford to be told to leave.

Got one hell of a reminder just how fucked things are n the world today though. Last night I was online chatting with a few friends and ran across one of the most depressing statements I've heard in some time. "Fuck the kids they'll just grow up to be ragheads too we should just nuke the fuckin place (in reference to Iraq)." I can't begin to describe how much that kid of blind hatered bothers me. Now should we be angry at those who planned, prepared for and perpatrated the 9/11 attack? May answer is hell yes. Too many good people died not to be.

It would seem that good President Bush (may he suffer horribly for all the damage that hes done) has done quite a job making people forget that it WAS NOT Iraq that perpatrated 9/11. Is it possible that Al Qadia(sp?) had links to the Iraqi govenment? Yeah, as a matter of fact i would have been surprised if they didn't. Keep in mind though that the U.S. has a single state bigger than the middle east. Its not that hard understand how that happens when you realize the scale of things here.

Thas not to say though that Saddam wasn't in desperate need of an ass kicking, quite to the contrary. But the fact of the matter is, that Bush has used peoples fear, outrage, and emotional hurt as a means to further his family's pissing contest with Saddam, and for that kind of abuse of athority/public trust Bush now deserves to have his ass kicked up in between his ears. (so what are the odds of that raising a flag or two?)

Now that I have the inital rant out of my system, and boy did I ever need that, on to the core problem I'm seeing. Regaurdless of the catalyst in the past few years we've seen a HUGE increase in hatered here in the U.S. When people start hating one group blindly, it almost always spreads. Since 9/11 I've heard atleast twice as many racial/sexual/religious slurs on a regular basis. THIS HAS TO STOP! While those of you who know me and that I call friend are by no means guilty of this kind of blind, rampant, and rabid hatred; I'm sure you seen it as well.

I would like to put out a call to whomever reads this to help heal these wounds, left untreated for too long, in the hearts of our people. I know what I ask, people don't want to let go of such things; hate is easier than compassion and fear easier than courage. Despite that though, for a community of any size (and that includes nations and even the world as a whole) to prosper, it must be united and free of such poisons. So be it a friendly ear to listen and let people release those felings and begin to heal. a voice of reason in the midst of this growing insanity, or whatever methods a your faith may guide you to, please just take action. Also know that I make this requst not as an American but a a member of th human race.

I know that curing all the hatred in the world is not even remotely likely to happen within our lifetimes. and thats not what I'm asking. Just don't let it get any WORSE.
