It's not coming back
I really needed some humour today. Not going to post about why just yet as I still need to recover from the disaster I walked into last night, that ended up in a nasty mess this am.
So, I've been caring for this man who had his big toe ampuated a few weeks ago. That means there is no toe left, at all. None. Nadda, total absence of toe. This man has had two other toes amputated on the other foot a few years ago. Pleasant wife, who was in the distant past a nurse, asked me, "When will the toe nail grow back?" iz speechless for a moment, then explain without breaking into totally unprofessional giggles, that there will be no new toenail.
