It's going to be warmer tonight, only -25 C. Went down to -30 last night, bathroom taps froze. Good thing I have a down duvet. Problem is I have to get out of bed to pee and go to work. Nevermind there is no room service for tea. Dear brother and I sorted out the pipes. Need more firewood

That does sound very, very cold. You need some sort of heated dressing gown that you can switch on before getting out of bed to step into it to get up!
