Can't recall when I had to light the woodstove in early September. Temps dropped close to freezing.
Pottered around the house a bit, laundry, stuff packed up to drop off at charity shop. Bed stripped, ready for clean sheets and winter duvet. Need to sort through blanket box, take out winter clothes and put away summer stuff.
My living room is almost tidy.
Cooked chicken stew.
Lots of things waiting for me to find oooomph to get them done.
Tenant hasn't paid full rent for September. So, I turned tv feed off. As I don't watch it, I see no reason to give him free tv service. This is a bad time of year for finding tenants. I've got some adverts to post in the laundromat and grocery stores. Free online adverts posted but no responses. It was like this two years ago.
I did a night shift on Friday night for a palliative patient. Weird family. Oh well, it will help pay the bills. However, I discovered that my body isn't up to that sort of nonsense. Took me all day and evening of Saturday to recover.
