I feel a little better
reading this article. Just googled yoga and post-concussion syndrome- duh - should have done it beforehand. Probably didn't in case I found out I didn't like yoga, but it would be THE CURE. During this period of absolute misery, I've been blaming myself for not pushing to get better, not being into fitness - so many people have said - exercise - even the last neurologist said it. I've not been keen on exercise most of my life. I don't have the natural rhythm to keep in step. Total fail in gym at school which further isolated me from my peers. Before my head injury I was active. Moved firewood all winter, garden stuff all summer. Swimming I like. Set up a campsite and break it down several times a year, plus put all the stuff in the car at both ends of the trip, plus put it away after. Lots of physical labour. I like to do stuff that has meaning. Not run or walk x amount to no purpose.
I've lost most of today due to increased head pain and ringing in the ears. Have barely managed to drink tea. Read flist and facebook. Tons to do and I WANT TO DO STUFF, but can't.
I've ordered silk for embroidery, hoping I can do that while laying down. Only position that I feel comfy in.
