Lovely fall weather. So, I'm busy clearing up outdoors. Stuff seems to gather at the edges. Some stuff out by the side of the road, see if anyone wants it- old garden chairs, odds and ends.
I have three out buildings - a two car garage, a small shed about 8x8, and a slightly larger one say 12x8. The latter one was painted blue (a sickly baby blue) when we moved in. The lower part of the house has vinyl siding in a sage green, I had the same siding put on the blue shed, so now it's green. However, we still call it the blue shed. Garage is too far from the house to use it for my car sadly.
There was a random Ikea shelf - unpainted pine - hanging about, that's been moved to the brown shed where it now holds my camp cooking and misc household gear. Tent and camp beds now have a home, as do the chairs. It will be far easier to pack and unpack next year. I hope.
Now for the blue shed. I've pulled all the stuff out. It's harder to deal with as there are about a million screws, nails and bits and bobs of hardware. Found the spare sunshade connectors hidden in the maple syrup sap buckets. I had the poles ready to be tossed. Rescued now and all the bits are together. Maybe I will tap the trees and make maple syrup next spring?
I'm hoping tenant is wanting to rent part of the garage to store his auction stuff. It will mean clearing out the garage, I'm keen to get it done. Hope tenant will be able to auction large couch and two chairs - lovely furniture from the 1900's in England, but they need to be re-upholstered and don't suit my current style. my mum was given them by our neighbors in the late 70's, they had brought them from England and had them with them when they lived in South Africa. I'm not going to throw them out - either find someone who wants them for free or $ or keep them for another decade.
home,
