Finally
Found the mental and physical energy to deal with my problems logging into and staying logged into Livejournal. Lj tech support sent me an email telling me it was my ISP. Called ISP just now and they had me unplugging things. Then they insisted that I plug satellite modem into wall instead of power/surge protector bar. That sorted the problem. However, I need to have it go through a surge protector due to our nasty weather. Not the least bit interested in replacing the modem if a power surge fries it. Trip to town in am to find a new one just for the satellite modem. Will need to re-jig study to find more power outlets for various bits of tech and sewing machine.
I need to sort the room again as the set up isn't working on several levels. I think I need another bookcase in there. There are three right now, but I need shelf space for charts, reports and my bills etc.
I've also been added to a work committee (paid) for a few hours a month, this will add a new set of papers to keep track of, I'm going to try and keep it all electronic but I'm not sure how that's going to pan out.
I also need to pull the pine sofa table out and put it behind my sofa. Rearranged living room so I can see the river and enjoy the space.
Looking forward to enjoying LJ again. Commenting has been very difficult for the last few months. Sorry to have been a bad LJ friend.
