Guy who should be in jail, but is on home release for 'medical' reasons. Stood me up for his home care nursing visit yesterday. I had agreed to come at a time he insisted upon. Only to find no one home. He called an hour later. "Busy shopping in nearby town." Visit time for next day agreed. He then called back to tell me that it wouldn't work. I ignored that voice mail and several others. He just called now to make sure I knew that the car auction was more important than his diabetic foot. I suppose it might be helpful to have a car if you lose your foot. Just make sure it's not the one you use to to drive.
I told him his primary nurse would be in touch to arrange further visits. I wouldn't be visiting him.
Oh, and man older than god. I won't be giving you a tight timeline for when I'm coming today. A two hour window is what everyone else gets. Once I've done your visit, you can then go to Tim Horton's and drink bad coffee. If you were negotiating world peace, then I would be willing to be more specific.
