I think that she panicked, honestly. She was afraid that the other woman would never be found which is quite true, since Morguase isn't simply going to stroll up and tell them all what happened. If she was never found Arthur would have to send Freya to be executed.

But you are right, it is better than yelling.

Oh Gwen. I am with you on that. I thought she should have been uplifted that Arthur spared Freya. Gwen thought that talking "Arthur and that had gotten her nowhere", when we all know that it did, Gah!

Like when Tom escaped just 'proved' to he was guilty.If there hope to clear Freya's name.

What will Uther/court think now that Arthur effectively pardoned the girl (good thing) but then escaped so now they might thing Arthur should have killed her in the first place.

Love the A/G tension I love it. I want them to get married right now! Yay!

I agree with javabreeze, I know that Gwen was doing the right thing helping Freya, but I wish she had trusted Arthur.

Arthur has it bad for Gwen. His every thought seems to be about their wedding night. LOL. Which is understandable, he's a man; he's young; he's in love and wants to show her in that way. I just hope he's patient with her on the night of, because though Gwen is curious she's still seems very reluctant to allow herself to be that close to him.

Speaking of Gwen I am so proud of her for helping Freya! You go girl! So what if it was unheard of during this time and will disappoint Arthur, it was what needed to be done, and I'm glad she did it.

Awesome update! I can't wait to see what happens next.
