(no subject)
we went to boston pride this weekend.
in the rain.
what's new really, it's like a freakin flood out all the time now it seems.
although it does make the sunny days that much more beatiful.
pride.
yes.
it was wonderful. and beatiful. and exciting. and
WET.
a torrential downpour in waves with the wicked wind came just as the
parade began.
but it was wicked fun.
got tons of beads.
dykes on bikes were hott... cant wait to be one someday, riding bitch with my lady.
or perhaps on my own bike. leather chaps.
yea!
we didnt stay too long since it was so wet and cold. but while we did it was fun.
looked a bit like drowned rats when we returned to the car.
Annie's dad came up on sunday with our new couch and bed frame. yay!!!
wasnt awful bad getting it up the stairs. which was nice.
and it looks soooo good in our living room.
definitely much better energy in that room now.
did a lot of cleaning.
put almost all of our CD's in little sleaves, labeled them and put them in some
organizational boxes. took a damn long time! ahah
went to the toast. yummmy :)
oh and friday- we surprised my dad (for his 56th bday)
at this restaurant in belgrade lakes. he was so surprised and it was a lot of fun.
the two and a half hour drive in the rain was worth it :)
finished jeanette winterson's The Power Book yesterday. as always amazing and beautiful and delicious.
Emma is coming on Friday !!! im wicked excited...
yea. i think that's it. i should post some rainy day pics from pride and maybe some of the apartment. but not now.
