so yeah....im home all alone this week. spending some quality time with the dorky dog. but it's been good. emma is home from greece so that makes things much better. three weeks without your best friend during the summer is a long time. i have surprised myself at how domestic i have been lately. i cooked up a great dinner on monday....and then did all the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen and my bedroom. and today i watered the flowers outside and did my laundry....crazy. crazy how when you have a lot of time to yourself you tend to get all organized and domestic. hmmmm. or maybe im just sick haha.
work is going pretty well. it's such a slow week. we're headed to presque isle tomorrow.....no real point to us going besides we have nothing else to do...so why not collect some more weeds. ughh haha. but hopefully if it's not raining and we can go up we'll head to houlton dairy bar on the way home for some of the bestest ice cream. yumm. then we're getting pizza at pat's tomorrow night since the season is winding down. it'll be nice. catherine is going home on saturday...it'll be weird without her there next week...it'll just be down to krysia and terra and i. and then terra and i are planning on stopping on the 20th. so. not much left.
im headed to conn. this weekend with annie. should be fun. hopefully hitting up a drive in (double feature!) or having a bonfire out in her backyard with her parents. fun fun.
i cant wait until rachel and leah arrive...(next week sometime)...it'll be great to meet leah and to see rach again. i miss her a lot, i really wish we lived closer during the rest of the year.
ahh well- the summer sure is winding down. it's been good. it's been hard. im very excited to not have to miss anymore though. soon i'll be falling alseep next to annie every night....ahhh how lovely.
